TAP.tv's hardware selections have been designed and fully tested to deliver maximum flexibility and power to your private TV network while also conscious of the space-limited nature of most medical practices. The three hardware pieces below, when combined with TV screens or monitors of your choice, readily provide all of the possibilities described herein.
A TAP.tv player is installed in the waiting room and serves as master station for the TAP network. This waiting room "master" is internet connected; touch screen units in consultation rooms are connected via Ethernet to the master. All content is held on the hard drive of every unit.
The PC switch, driven by TAP's touch screen control allows instantaneous cycling between content played from TAP's player, or PC content such as digital X-rays or camera images.
All of the guesswork is taken out of the process via a single touch screen control. Simply touch the function desired and your selection will immediately display on the patient viewing screen. These all-in-one touch screens come in sizes ranging from 19" to 42".
