TAP places a wireless 3G router in each car, along with a TAP.tv player and one or more screens, depending upon car configuration.

The 3G router is roughly half the size of a notebook computer. It receives wireless internet from existing cell towers and does not require any custom towers or transmitters.

The TAP.tv player is a video-optimized computer with 360GB of hard drive, adequate to store many hours of video; and, capable of combining real time streaming data feeds with stored video to create mobile television.

The flat panel screens selected, in number and size, are appropriate to the space and seating arrangement in each particular location. TAP.tv can place its signal on any screen, and can custom configure the screen for an application. The screen shown at left is 50% wider than a typical modern TV, appropriate for a location with plenty of horizontal room but limited vertical room.
